At Grace Music Studio NY, there are SO many opportunities to perform

At Bi-Annual Studio recitals, students perform solos, duets, trios and in chorus.

Students at Grace Music Studio NY are often asked to perform at local events like Brooklyn Cyclones Games and Street Fairs.

Holiday Caroling happens every December! Students and friends gather to sing for folks in Nursing Homes in Brooklyn. 

About Julia Amisano

Julia has performed all over the world — including at Carnegie Hall, in in Italy, and on national tours

Julia Amisano founded her private teaching studio Grace Music Studio NY (GMSNY) in 1999 with a mission to help everyone who wants to learn to sing, realize their dream. At GMSNY Julia teaches private voice lessons as well as skill building classes for vocalists. These skill building classes include Acting lessons, Audition technique, Songwriting and piano lessons. 

Julia has performed all over the world, several times at Carnegie Hall and has had two Operas written for her. Notable performances include Kindergarten, a short 10-minute comic Opera by Christian McLeer written for Julia and premiered at Carnegie Hall, The Song of Solomon, a full-length Opera written for Julia in which she performed with Met Tenor Yegishe Manucharyan at Le Frak Concert Hall, the role of Marcellina in Le Nozze di Figaro in Chiari, Italy, Titiana in Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Ghost of Christmas Past in a National Tour of A Christmas Carol, On the Brooklyn Barge an evening of Dave Youger’s orginal Arias and songs as well as performances in Pop, Jazz and Rock with different groups and bands. 

Julia received two Masters Degrees: one in Vocal Performance from Brooklyn College and the other in Classical Acting from the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA) along with a BFA in Musical Theatre from SUNY Fredonia.
